Tremendous effort for a beginner, but i did it from the base to the peak of Pusuk buhit mountain. Such a relief to watch fantastic view from there. It took about 2h30m to get there, i mean i did. Some people could make it shorter or longer. You can find a place to pray, esp pray to the spirit of Batak ancestors, and also a flag of Batak nation. I love this mountain ❤ufe0f

You do what you loved. Sometimes it can teach you how to be grateful when you got it. Just like climb a mountain, you climbed so hard and feel better after that.

Highly recommended this place to visitnlocation in Samosir island ,North Sumatera-Indonesia .nfrom the gate, it takes 4 to 5 hours of tracking to the submit. some people took tracking early morning for sunrise , but I chose spent a night camping there . The views were so beautiful. there are mountains, lake Toba, sunrise in a perfect harmony. latest I went there, it was quite enough. not too much people. those picture I posted are original ,no filter and editing .nplease be noted that this place is special for the locals for religion activity, normally they went to submit for praying. so visitors should respect the local rulesnthe locals are friendly, they will happy to talk to.

One of sacred mountain for Batak Tribe. It is believe that the ancestor of Batak was come to earth from this mountain (known as Siraja Batak). Now the acces to the peak is much easier than before because concrete roads have been established. The scenery from above is very amazing for sure. At the top also you will find sacret shrine for Parmalim belief.nBeware of theft, because I have experience when camping near the top. My friend smartphone, which he put in pocket tent suddenly lost because someone used to cut our tent from outside and take the out the phone.
