Awful website interface, free appointment = gets treated like garbage (no email confirmation of visa being submitted to the embassy), extremely unprofessional workers (I was served by Via in the UK section and half the time I had to remind her what to do). As of now, my passport is ready, however I live outside Jakarta and paid Rp 150,000 for it to be posted and it's been a week and I haven't received my passport.nnOn top of that, I emailed and tweeted them to no response. There's also no phone helpline service.nWe're talking about passport here, a very sensitive document, and for some reason I have no means to reach out and ask on its whereabouts?

Fast efficient process. If you read negative reviews here, esp on service costs subject, I don't think those who said that can really afford to go to Europe.nI would prefer to go to VFS rather than to embassies which don't have lockers to storage your bag, or photocopy/printing areas to solve your lack of document problem and even photobox to have your visa photo taken. Obviously you have to pay for those services in VFS because if you happen to understand the law of supply and demand, it's not their faults to put higher price for high demand needs. If you do not want to pay simply; don't bring laptop or any prohibited items (which they have stated on their website, if you read them) so you don't need to pay for storage, make sure all your documents are completed and as per their requirements and bring cash with you.nI've been applying visas from VFS Japan, UK and Schengen and I had encountered good experience so far, easier and more efficient in process. If you don't share the same experience maybe you just had a bad luck.

The office is located inside The Kuningan City Mall on the first floor. Very good service, and Staff is so helpfull.

Fast and efficient process. I was only allowed to enter the VFS 5 minutes before appointment schedule. Here are some tips: 1. Print the document checklist, dont write anything on it, the staff will do that for us. 2. Print your filled online form. 3. Prepare all the documents accordingly. 4. Opted to use the document scanning service, they have Fujitsu scanner which can scan documents at a very fast speed and they automatically uploaded it. The staff will check your documents and put in page separator with barcodes on it then scan all the documents subsequently. (Best value service and it will safe you the hasle and confussion on which documents go which sections). They will give you a receipt to get your passport and visa later. The original passport will be kept by them at the VFS office, the scanned documents will be process at Manila office. If you need someone else to get your passport later, ask for 'Surat Kuasa Form'/Authorization Letter to be signed be you and the person you will give authorization to pick up your passport (remember to attached a copy of your own ID card or bring the original one if you are gonna pick it up yourself along with the original receipt). After you finish that, they will call you to the Biometric chamber where they will take your picture by looking up to cctv for 10 seconds and to a camera (so no need to get Visa picture taken beforehand), your fingerprints, and lastly your signature on an electronic board. You can go straight home afterwards.
