The wreck of the Tosimaru freighter lies behind the activities of cow herders on Sosol Beach, Malifut, North Halmahera. This Japanese heritage Tosimaru was wrecked because it was bombed by the allies during World War II. (source: NatGeo)

This skeleton is a historical artifact of WWII, I saw this Japanese skeleton since August of 1975 when I first performed the Kao Plain Location Identification Survey - the preparatory stage for the Integrated Development of New Village Settlement Areas cq - Transmigration Program.

a fun place to spend the afternoon reading a book or just relaxing with friends or family. the ship's own carcass can only be seen at the top, when it recedes, and only looks at its flag pole when the sea water is rising. near the wreck there is a park with beautiful views.
