Very nice but £16 ticket is overpriced.

For the price we paid, I had expected to see more.

My, oh my! What an experience.nJust for starters, the Greenwich Palace, located on the state of this same observatory, was the birthplace of Henry VIII, Elizabeth I and Mary I.nSeveral pillars of cartography were developed in this place, i.e. the concepts of longitude and latitude, the development of telescopes and most importantly, the meridian which divides the planet in East/West.nIt has a lot of historical facts pact in a small place - but it's worthy every second you can spend there.

Awesome feeling! The place where you can see GMT clock on your own the word usually heard frequently by people to measure time difference between a country and the location is under Greenwich! Nearest tube and DLR station is available to reach this place!!

The observatory is great if you enjoy topics that relate to the study of space or time. However, if you’re just there to look at the view of London, I’d recommend primrose hill disregarding the crowds. The view at the Royal observatory is mainly just canary wharf and it was quite far from central London.
