The Majalengka District Court was established in 1957 under the supervision of the Cirebon District Court.nnAt the time of its inception, the Chairman of the Majalengka District Court was concurrently held by Mr. Rd. Dwidjono Sastrodirjo who also serves as Chair of the Cirebon District Court. With three judges namely Rd. Oentoeng Hartomo Hardjosubroto, BA., Rd. Roro Sridarjiah, BA., And Rd. Moch Saroni. and M. Sudjab as Registrar, Mohamad Taklid as Substitute Registrar, and two employees namely Afandi and Sobari.nnLocated on Jl. Satari Kebon Jengkol, Majalengka by renting a resident's house as his office, the trial was held in two places, namely a criminal case trial at the Majalengka District Attorney's Office and a civil case trial located at the Majalengka District Court office.nnIn 1959, the Majalengka District Court office moved to Jl. East Raya and still rent residents' houses. In 1968 the Majalengka District Court established its own office located at Jalan Court No. 1 and then in the 1981/1982 fiscal year the Majalengka District Court rebuilt a new building located at Jl K.H. Abdul Halim No. 499 Cigasong. The building was officially put into use and was inaugurated on March 1, 1983 by Mr. Suhendro Hardasi, SH as the Head of the Regional Office of the Department of Justice of West Java. Until now the building is still in use.
