The home of protected animals ... and the forest. Y so dense and beautiful to explore. There are also lots of natural resources in the area that are useful .. hopefully it will be maintained

Forests that have long been known to the world as the lungs of the world or pearls from the east. This forest stretches almost all over Buton Regency. Of the seven sub-districts in Buton district, only the Wabula sub-district is not included in this forest area. This forest has an area of around 65 thousand hectares. This forest was the subject of long-term biodiversity facilitated by the British Muslim Expedition. The animals I like most in this forest are alo or hornbills. Large birds with large red, orange, and yellow beaks that sound like saying 'hello'. This bird is a type of monogamy or penyetia bird. Later when adults, this bird only has one pair. Where are you always alone, until death comes. Unbelieveable :) There are 120 species of birds recorded in this forest. 36 of them are endemic to Sulawesi. Lambusango Forest is located in the heart of Buton Island. That is why the entire main water catchment from the southern area comes from this forest.

It is not maintained, it would be nice if done in terms of visual improvements.

The Lambusango forest is known as the lungs of the world because there are unique fauna, a wide variety of birds and endemic and endangered wildlife, such as anoa, macaque, tarsier, cuscus. This forest has long been known in the world, where Sulawesi's distinctive animals such as the Birds of Julang Sulawesi are easily seen and observed here. No wonder, if so many foreign tourists flocked to see more closely the beauty and biodiversity of Lambusango Forest, Buton, Southeast Sulawesi.
