A REALLY GREAT PLACE IF YOU WANT TO SCUBA DIVE!!!nSo it’s the first time I’ve ever tried scuba dive, and it’s an AMAZING experience! I definitely will want to scuba dive again. The instructor, Indah, really helps is a lot. We’re a group of four and even one of us can’t swim that well. It’s completely safe and really really great!

I did my open water course in January 2021 at Ecodive with Indah. She is a great instructor: experienced, calm, clear and very attentive. Ecodive is a pretty simple, easygoing place with a friendly staff. It may not strike you for having the newest/fanciest equipment but at no point I felt concerned about security. Amed is a beautiful place and perfect for a first diving experience.

Here, I want to share experiences for those who want to snorkelling or who want to try again. Well... Honestly, this is actually my first experience snorkeling and the place is in Amed too. An unforgettable experience at the end of 2020. Where as we all experience, the world is being attacked by a virus that doesn't know when it will end. But a little vacation like this can relieve anxiety and fatigue due to work or studying online. In fact, you could say this is an incredible experience. Ha ha. It's a bit over maybe, but yes this is what I feel after experiencing snorkeling for the first time in Amed. The place is good, access to the place is also easy to find. This is recommended. Learned to dive here some years ago and keep coming back. Very professional, comfortable, welcoming and relaxed atmosphere with a high regard for safety and tailoring to the needs of the customer. Ecodive was one of the first diving shops in the area and has a great reputation. They have skilled gear technicians on site to maintain the gear, and have their own compressor.nJohn the owner is friendly and helpful man that has a wealth of knowledge about the area and all things in the sea.nIndah his daughter carries on the tradition with enthusiasm and a calming presence that is especially perfect for the nervous first time diver.nThis is a family business and a shop that people tend to hang out in.
