We should have read some of the recent reviews. November 22, 2020. It was a long walk down (And then back up) many steps and then a slippery path only to find the path blocked at one point by a large group of bamboo that had fallen across the path. Bring a chainsaw if you come down. Maybe there is a waterfall at some point further down the path.

Entry fee is 20k IDR these days. It was so beautiful and no one else there. Swimming was like a cool breeze on a hot day.

We went here this afternoon 24th of October 2020. It was not accessible, there's falling trees blocking the already slippery path. The path seems to be neglected for many months without any maintenance. The local farmer said it was not taken care by the locals during the pandemic. Make sure to check the latest update from the local villagers before visiting.

If you visit Bangli, I recommend you to go to Waterfalls Kuning. I'm sure this place you will like, because this place is still beautiful in the open and without human intervention. When you are on your way you will be presented with a neighboring road with large trees around it. In addition, on the half-way you will see high cliffs flowing water, a kind of waterfall but not too high and not heavy. So you can feel the freshness of the water. If you have reached the waterfall you will see a high waterfall with high cliffs on both side. There you can swim, play water while feeling the coolness of the waterfall, take photos, or just enjoy the natural beauty around it. I suggest you to bring a drink because honestly the journey is a bit tiring. You also have to bring money to pay an entrance ticket of IDR 10,000 per person. And if you want to swim you can prepare a change of clothes. And don't forget to bring a camera or cellphone to take pictures and make your moments there. If you are hungry, you don't have to go far to look for a place to eat. Because there is a traditional style dining place near the ticket window with a wide view of rice fields. Food and drinks there are also delicious with a range of prices that are still very affordable.
