To go to the West they tried to take over the Selorejo Hydroelectric Power Plant, Mendalan Hydroelectric Power Plant and Siman Hydroelectric Power Plant located in the Kasembon area. One of the soldiers who led the Indonesian combatant forces in the area was First Lieutenant General Soediarto who fought to the death with the desire not to allow vital facilities for the electrical energy source to be regained again by the Dutch. From the battle, several power generators were damaged and were repaired only 10 years later.
