The New Apostolic Church is a millenarian church, originating from the Catholic Apostolic Church. This church was founded in 1863 in Germany, and since 1897 in the Netherlands. Its establishment began with a schism in Hamburg in 1863 which separated it from the Catholic Apostolic Church, which began in the 1830s as a renewal movement in, among others, the Anglican Church and the Church of Scotland.nPremilenarianism and the Second Coming of Jesus Christ are the doctrinal points of the New Apostolate. Most of their doctrine is similar to the main stream of Christianity and, especially its liturgy, with Protestantism; while its hierarchy and organization can be compared with the Roman Catholic Church.
