Really terrible service, the French section had no idea what they were doing and made me and those after me wait for two hours when the procedure could have been done in 15 min. The visa application system (apparently) failed and I had to rewrite my entire application on the website, but this is not their fault. What is their fault on the other hand is their inefficiency from the start to end. One of the staff charged me the wrong amount of money and this added 30 min to my waiting time as they tried and failed to rectify the mistake. The error was only solved when someone else came to help (he solved it in a few minutes). They also had no idea which computer they needed to print the receipt, how to use the system, they mixed up my files etc. And these people are far from being polite enough to make up for the countless amount of gaffes made. Either they need to give better training to their staff, or they need new staff altogether.

We were told due to covid 19, our passports and documents can only be submitted through courier service to minimize contact. However, due to some issues, ended up we still made our way down to your VFS Singapore office to resolve it face to face. There are a few issues that I wish to bring to your attention.n1) If you still make an “exception” for applicants to head down to your VFS Singapore office, then wouldn’t it be better to allow applicants to make an appointment to submit their documents over the counter so that your staff could highlight any issues on the spot and check through the documents before submission? In this case you have wasted our courier fee, time and effort to make the necessary arrangements to comply with your “protocols”.n2) Your staff had already indicated on the 28/07/20 that we submitted our biometrics, however apparently we still need to sign on the same page, indicating that we do not wish to provide another set of biometrics. May I ask you what is the point of this verification? In what kind of situation with a sound mind would we want to provide a new set of biometrics?n3) We were told over the phone after our documents were received that with effective from 1/11/20, the courier cost has been updated to $41.20 instead of $40.80, and we were not informed by any means (Phone, email or stated on the official VFS website) before we obtained the credit note from the bank as instructed. So ended up our credit note need to be voided and the necessary amount was paid in cash over the counter.nWould all of these be avoided if you allowed submissions based on appointment basis over the counter? Please do a thorough review of your work processes because I am sure we are not the first applicants with negative feedback. If you are incompetent with handling immigration processes, let some other competent agencies handle it.

Very poor service, unnecessary delays and exaggerated measures. Not a good service.

At the Russian visa Center, an old lady (seems to be the team leader) shouted and screamed at me for no reason. Try to avoid her if you can!
