Train tickets sell out online weeks in advance, but you can still buy over the counter, if you are expecting to just walk in and buy a ticket be aware that you might not be able. There are buss options to do the border cross as well, if you have luggage check the train option first.

Automated system always corrupted, claim high class country but system itself never improved. Always turn into manual.

Booked the train tickets online via easybook. Probably the fastest way to cross the causeway on public transport and it was such a breeze through both Malaysia and Singapore customs.nnDefinitely recommend when the trains ride is 2 mins. The whole journey from one side of immigration to the other probably is about 30 minutes.

Chance of the the ticket based on your luck and experience... Get it early in advance, or get it late will make you regret...
