Yesterday in the late afternoon, I went to the Clementi branch to post a parcel. The queue was long. I asked the lady controlling the queue to estimate the time for my turn. She told me about 2 hrs. So I went home intending to come again today. I went just now. The queue was long . Fortunately a male staff went to everyone in the queue to ask what they were there for.When he came to meI told him that I am sending a parcel. He told no need to queue. Was asked to buy the stamps from the machine. I was so relieved. I met the same woman controlling the queue and told her that she should have asked the same thing yesterday and save my trouble. She just grinned.. Perhaps Singpost could advise such staff to improve the customer service by being pro active!!
