This is the southern tip of south east asia. You will walk along mangrove forest to the end of the southern tip

Nice place to see mangrove, however some of the Walk plank was closed. Don't know why.

Tanjung Piai, Taman Negara Johor, the southern tip of Asia continent. This is the best place to visit if you happen to visit Kukup for seafiid lunch. It is only a few kilometer from Kukup.nHere where you can explore the mangrove surrounding area that make up of the Tg Piai Tamn Negara.nThere are wooden walkway a few kilomèter long for visitor to explore the mangrove tree. From here visitor can walk to to jetty to view the mangrove and beach at low tide or high tide where you can see the ship passing through the Straits of Melaka to Port of Tg Pelepas . Visitor can also see Singapore (Tuas) from here, which is only opposite to Tg Piai.nVisitor can also walk another 1200 meter to the area where the actual southern tip of the continent - there is monument of globe replica which indicate the exact location of the place (Tanjung Piai). Visitor can take photo here one for the album.nAnd if you happen be here during the high tide the whole of the walkway and the surrounding mangrove area will be flooded & covered with salt water. It will covered up to the parking area. It will be like a water festival. The step up to the walkway will be like waterfall . But this will only happen a few times in year. If you lucky and drop by at the right month/day it is a bonus for you.So don't miss Tanjung Piai if you visit Kukup.
