One of my favourite library where i spend quality time with my child. Spacious and usually not crowded. Sufficient tables for the young ones. Not forgetting the always helpful staff. There's also a big public carpark behind the library, though not shelter. Hence something to note if it rains. The book return drop operates 24hrs.

Ang Mo Kio National Library is supposed to be quiet and peaceful, yet there is a security guard guy, who has been talking non - stop to other patrons so loudly that at second floor, I can hear very clearly the contents of all conversations between 2 different patrons. I understand that now has covid 19 virus so everyone should be quiet to let themselves at peace. Yet it is noisy for almost 4 hours.

Minding my own business and working, suddenly this annoying security guard keep telling me to pull up my mask, every single time he walk pass me, he will tell me that. How high you want me to pull up my mask? Until my eyes? Another staff, Indian auntie packing the books told us that this wide table can only sit 1 person and not 2(Firstly, there is not indication that this is a single table use, secondly those table for 2 pax..is the exact size.) Makes no sense. The best part is, the security guy gets another 4 staff to follow him to report people about their mask. Seriously? Is that your jobscope? They should just mind their own business and pack their books.

Good place to go for borrowing books. Reading from a physical book just feels different from reading from a screennNot crowded on a Sunday evening

I like the library. Been here for many years.nChecking out has been a problem always.Now when i tap the machine it asked for membership card. When ever the library ever issue membership card i don't know. Its has always been an i/c. If there is a need to upgrade the machine, pl do it with some thoughts for the plus n minus issue. Thank you.
