Sports Hub Library

Used to love this library but due to covid there are less seatsnnPros:nMany plug outletnBignMore space to walk aroundnLots of sports booksnnCons:nWhen I was studying I felt a little uncomfortable as when I kept going to the toilet the staff kept staring at mennWhen I left the library to buy myself water the staff approached me and said that it will be my last time I’ll get to go out, if I were to go out I should have bring my things along as there are people who want to find a place to sitnI understand that they want no responsibility when it comes to missing valuables but the day I was in the library there was not a lot of people like there was SO MANY empty seats!! and I was sitting in one those empty seatsnnLastly I was sitting in level 1 but in level 2 there were people talking very loudly yet the staff didn’t do anything about and it made me lose my focus and beside me there was a student who was taking a short nap and he was woken up and the staff gave a warning but not to the people in level 2!?!?nnBut overall I know that the staff are trying their best to their job and I hope that I’m the future with this feedback we can have more visitors to visit the library and leave with a smile on their face

First of all, shortage of seats. Seats have been reduced and spaced out due to the virus, which is understandable. However, there is room for at least 10 more tables. Secondly, not all staff members behave well or have any manners or courtesy. A lady here is extremely rude and disrespectful. I have never faced such bad experience in a library before. Very disappointed in this place. Definitely wouldn’t recommend it. Try NLB! Much better service, seating, and variety there!

never expected to face racism in a library in singapore! very disappointing...

Recently relocated to Singapore permanently was so excited there was a sport library being a big sports fan.nnTo find out only taking new members if Singapore citizen or resident not for EP holder. Doesn’t make any sense makes me feel segregated.

Tried to visit this place twice & they have turned me away both times. 1st time they told me that they don’t cater for kids & told me to join online for myself. I attempted to join online but was unsuccessful so went back for assistance, they told me that because I’m not a resident (I have dependant pass) that I can’t join at all.
