IKEA Jurong

IKEA @Jem has its official opening today! Small store concept across 3 levels, instead of large building, and I found all the things I wanted in this small store concept too.. Just that the queue is too long for their bistro due to safe distancing measures..

Though it doesn't boast an entire building to itself similar to the IKEA outlets at Tampines and Alexandra/Queenstown, this IKEA at Jem has everything one would go to an IKEA for, be it for shopping for home products or for food.nnLevels 2 and 3 has the usual items like toys, cups, clocks and other miscellaneous items one would find useful for interior design or practicality. However, there's the usual searchlight arrows, the narrow path, the minimalistic feel and the slightly warm colours around the entire place.nnAt Level 4, there's the familiar IKEA restaurant, and apart from their signature chicken wings, meatballs, salmon and pasta, they also have plant balls, with vegetables joining the constitution of a meatball (though I see no compromise in taste, only a different texture). I was lucky to have visited the outlet in its opening days, and could sample the special set of mushroom soup, salmon fillet, and 8pc plant balls all for $15. You can also buy the plant balls from the nearby Swedish food market.nnThough it is the smallest IKEA store in Southeast Asia, and doesn't have it's own warehouse, it still offers everything a regular consumer would expect from visiting an IKEA, and is definitely worth a visit.

IKEA opening new outlet at JEM mall. No bad! Is a good place to shop.

Finally,,Ikea come to west side. I'm very happy visit Ikea store here. The advantages is size is not big like Tampines and Alexandra so I can easy to find my wishlist item ud83dude09, the new concept like cashless payment and although size smallest compare than IKEA Tampines and Alexandra, all the item can find here so opening Ikea store here in the west side very comfortable to me because Tampines and Alexandra a bit far from my home.

3 levels of Ikea! Opening on 29 April. Looking forward to its opening. Hurray don't have to go all the way to queenstown anymore!
