Came here to renounce my citizenship. Everything was in japanese. I had a hard time understanding. But then again it IS a Japanese Embassy for japanese people.nMaybe I'm the problem here...

Their guidelines to apply visa on their website is quite clear and detailed. If you follow all of them, its a quick check at the counter and we can be on our way. Unlike any other visa formalities, they collect money while returning passport after visa approval. Those the Visa room is super small and 20 people were ahead of me, I didn't have to wait much time. Wish the room was air conditioned. Its counter based services, so best to get all the docs ready beforehand.

A little hard to go to for the none driving people, because even the nearwst bus stop will take you about 6-7 minutes of walking to reach the embassy. Service of the embassy is rather efficient, process of applying for visa is rather quick, and hassle free. You do have to go to orchard to print doocuments if you miss out any documents though, so always make sure you prepare everything before going!

WOWnnThe best Embussy services i ever seen.nSecurity guard are amazingly happily helpful.nCan’t wait to visit japan!nnSecurity guards offered me Park my Motorcycle inside the Embassy - WOW !!nnI was number 26 so it took me 15 min of waiting time - Super Efficient!nnThey have Japanese Robot toilet bowl in the waiting room - Super cool!nn10 min walk from Orchard Towers where you can print your documents if necessary - located in the basement of OT. If they out of service go across the road behind the Mcdonalds in the building.
