Chinese cemetery closed, but Muslim section, which is slightly further north, is open. Bring bug spray and wear close toed shoes. Small Christian and Jewish cemeteries further south. All in all, a pleasant outing.

It is located in the west part of Singapore & is the biggest cemetery in Singapore. Resting place for the deceased. It is divided into different sections according to the year of burial. There are many cemetery paths for easy access by transports. The structure and design of the graves has different diversities. This is because of different reasons, example : different dialect groups, feng sui designs, burial for special deceased, different time era which favours certain designs & decors. This whole place isnlike a township for the deceased as it covers a huge area. The place will be busy when people comes to pray and pay respect to their ancestors and their deceased love ones during the Ching Ming Festival in the third month of the lunar calender. May peace be with all the deceaeed buried there.nDated : 03/12/2016 ( Sunday ).
