Sweet, sour, spicy, and freshness in one bowl. Unique taste blend of fish soup. Simple setting with limited seat cap, can be a bit hot. A must try in Pangkalpinang.

Tasty lempah kuning! You pick your fish straight from the ice cooler and it's made fresh just for you. Prices are reasonable and the owner is friendly :)

Lempah kuning is a special dish from Pangkal Pinang, Bangka. It's squid or fish cooked with galanga, ginger, garlic, union, turmeric, slices of pineapple and water. It looks like yellow fish soup with a bit sweet and sour from the pineapple. You can enjoy this by adding calamansi juice or the local calls it jeruk kunci and chilies.nIt's so refreshing and tasty.nnYou can find this dish almost in every corner of thee city. But my friend took me here because she thinks this place is the best and I can't agree more.
