The place is nice.. Not the best, but still natural enough compare to some other places in Bali.nMaybe, because of the pandemic, not many people were here when I came.nI came here not to camp.. Just a day picnic with my brother and his friends..nWe spent some hours, and we found 3 stray dogs.. Very sad that there are dogs abandoned there.. No security guards or any forest rangers taking care of them..nI am personally grateful for the less of visitors here, because it means also lack of garbage threw around here..nLovely..

Nice place, not too much tourist which is good. Was camping here for 5 nights and eating in local warung nearby with tasty foods and very cheap. There are many people sell fresh fruits like orange and strawberry. The people are so nice and we were going into the woods around the lake. Make sure you bring thick coat or jacket because it's cold. And please don't litter.

The Lake TamblingannIn the beautiful mountain station of Bedugul you can not only see the lake of Bratan but if you would you can also visit to see 2 other smaller lakes namely the lake of Buyan and Tamblingan.nIndeed it is the lake Bratan is the biggest, the most visited or seen, the place where the beautiful of Bratan temple is located, also the place for doing recreational sports but its other 2 sisters also offer scenic selfie sites, panoramic view from up the hill in nearby village of Wanagiri.nFrom the 3 lakes it is the lake Tamblingan that has more temples on its banks than the other 2 lakes and the only one that used for doing easy lite trekkings by foreign tourists because of its peaceful friendly forrest with singing of many birds and the lake where motors are not allowed to keep its clear water preserved, clean and not poluted. So only hands paddle wood made canoes allowed.nSince only this Tamblingan offers trekking activities, very often tourists that stay in the near village of Munduk are going to do the activities other than seeing waterfalls that scatered many nearby.

Good spot for escape from the crowded touristic viewpoint at the mainroad above. Better to come at dawn and enjoy the magical misty clouds covering the lake. Also nice place to do lake camp, but be aware of leech. There's also hidden temple you can visit a little bit on the west side

Watch out for bumpy and dusty roads! But the view pays everything. The air is so refreshing. The lake surrounded by forest is the panorama you wouldn't want to miss!
