This traditional Saoraja Lapinceng home is located in Kampung Bulu Dua, Kecamatan Balusu, Kab. Barru. Stand on a 1/2 hectare land with a family status of the Sulle Datue family. Saoraja Lapinceng has the meaning of the royal house or royal palace of Balusu / Soppeng Riaja.nnLapnceng custom house was founded in 1879 by Balusu king named Andi Muhammad Saleh Daeng Parani Arung Balusu. Andi Muhammad Saleh once helped the kingdom of Soppeng to face the attack of the kingdom of Wajo and sidenreng the war known as Musu Belo or the Belo War. On his behalf he was appointed Petta Sulle Datue who was in charge of replacing King Soppeng when the king was absent. Andi Muhammad Saleh was also assigned as commander and warlord in the western part of the Soppeng kingdom or Soppeng Riaja.nnThe naming of Saoraja Lapinceng has its own meaning. When Saoraja Lapinceng was erected, the building collapsed and overturned items such as plates and other kitchen utensils (in Bugis, pincheng means beling). As a warning sign, the custom house was named Saoraja Lapinceng when the construction was completed.nnThe custom house of Lapinceng is made with a home-style architectural style. The shape of this stage house includes many stilt houses. The roof part of the triangular shaped house. To reach the body part of the house, it is connected with a ladder from the front, not from the side. In addition to the main building, also made the kitchen building, its shape is similar to the main building.nnThe materials used to build this house consist of ipi found in the middle of Balusu forest. There is a story behind the collection of Lapinseng traditional house ingredients. Timber materials are cut down by a clever woodman called La Sikki. By the time the timber was cut down, there were oddities, where after seven days of the night the tree was broken, but it had not fallen, and from it sounded like a buffaloed buffalo, then came out a liquid or a rubber tree of red like blood. Seeing this, La Sikki then prayed two rak'ats near the tree, and after three days later the tree fell. As the wood fell, the entire Balusu empire trembled. This wood is then used as an ingredient to build Saoraja Lapinceng.nnThis custom house has a size with details namely, main building 23.55 X 11 m, kitchen building 8.24 X 11.45 m, legolego section or home veranda 8.15 X 5.56 m, as well as guard station 7.59 X 4,13 m. As for the size of the pole, the largest pole has a size of 42 X 42 Cm, and the smallest pole has a size of 20 X 20 Cm.nnThe entire building consists of four parts and has a total of 66 columns with details, the main building has 35 poles, the kitchen building has 22 poles, and the legolego or home veranda has 9 poles. While for the number of stairs there are as much as two with the details of the child's main stairway has 17 steps, and stairs for the kitchen building has 15 steps. The Lapinseng traditional house has nine slabs or squares, each 5 slabs on the main building, and 4 slabs on the kitchen building.nnLapiteng custom houses are made with a rectangular shape while the roof part is a triangular pyramid. The front and back of the roof ridge, both the main building and the kitchen building are fitted with an overcoat or three-sealed openings. As for the eating of a three-legged eggplant is a sign that the owner of the house is a nobleman, in the old days only a nobleman who had a house with an overlapping three or an odd arrangement. In Bugis, Saoraja consists of two words, Sao = House and King = Large, which means Big House, intended to be the House of Greatness. If in ancient Bugis the word Sao Mario is said, like the one in Soppeng district, it says Sao = House and Mario = Large / Oversized.

Saoraja Lapinceng is one of the legacies of local wisdom and culture that is still well preserved today, in this saoraja (king's house) is still inhabited by the descendants of the new king and the historical legacy of the previous king of Barru.
