Today the mutual cooperation schedule here, the place is easy to find because there are road signs. The cemetery of the empire has an area of more than 1 hectare which was built by Sultan Mahmud Badaruddin Jayowikramo or better known as Sultan Mahmud Badaruddin I. For pilgrimage pilgrimage tours are very much in demand by many visits from other regions, known by the name of the Kubro pilgrimage ... What is unique here Tombstones vary depending on who is buried ... It's just unfortunate the condition of infrastructure and facilities is quite alarming. Continued due to being adjacent to the port, the road here is often damaged and many trucks pass, thereby reducing the comfort of visiting ...

This Tekurep Crater is a funeral complex in the area of South Sumatra. Precisely in the 3 Ilir Sub-District, Ilir Timur II Subdistrict, Palembang. From the Musi river it is about 100 meters away. This is one of the historical proofs of the existence of the first Mahmud Baddaruddin sultanate in addition to the existence of the Kuto Besak fort that was once built. In this tomb complex there is the tomb of the sultan's family who had been in government in his time.nnThis burial complex is called tekurep crater because it comes from the form of a roof of a tomb building in the form of a cupola (dome) or like a reverse griddle in green. Based on information from the kuncen (caretaker) of the tomb, this cemetery was built in 1728 at the behest of Sultan Mahmud Badaruddin I Jaya Wikramo. Then continued the construction of the Central Dome in the cemetery area by Sultan Ahmad Najamuddin I Adi Kesumo. This tomb architecture is a combination of Malay, Indian and Chinese architecture that makes this funeral complex show a blend of cultures.
