I only had two weeks available to learn Bahasa Indonesia at Wisma Bahasa - I wish it could have been a month. This is a really good place to learn as they customise your course carefully according to your existing language skills and priorities for learning. Teachers and teaching materials are both excellent. You learn in one-to-one sessions almost all in BI. Whatever skill level you have from total beginner onwards you will benefit - and everyone is so friendly and helpful. They can arrange your accommodation, airport taxi, cultural trips with a teacher as guide. Don't hesitate!

I spent two months studying at Wisma Bahasa in Yogyakarta and I thoroughly enjoyed my time. The teachers are all invested in customizing your learning plan to your needs. The learning goes on in and out of the classroom by developing friendships with other students and teachers through social activities and field trips. I would highly recommend Wisma Bahasa to people interested in learning Bahasa Indonesia, and I will be continuing classes with Wisma Bahasa in Jakarta.

I studied here in 2016 and 2019. The teachers and staff are excellent and very friendly. It's a comfortable learning environment that really helps you pick up the language quickly. The cultural and community activities are outstanding and provide an important complement to the language lessons. I can't recommend this program highly enough.

If you're planning to learn Indonesian in Java, you can't do better than Wisma Bahasa. One-on-one teaching, tailored to the needs of the student. A variety of teachers who are all very good at encouraging conversation and explaining the subtleties of the Indonesian language and culture.nI also enjoyed the field trips to Kraton and Borobudur, and loved the cooking lesson!
