Bendungan Tianyar

Its not a dam, its a check dam. People miss understanding. Dam will have a reservoir but this structure made for hold the sedimentation and lava flood of agung mountain.nnAnyway the view quite cool. I got there in cloudy situation but if the sky is clear you will see mount agung the peak of bali island. There are a lot of cow and horse. But people here throw trash everywhere. Add more trash bin to throw trash.

Good spot for taking some photos

Good place for photoshoot.

Feels like remote place, surrounded by the sand mining, and local horse. If you want less or no crowd, come in afternoon workdays.

The view of the mountain is amazing. But there isn't really much to that. The road here is a bit hard. Suggestion to no come here at noon. The sun stings.
