KGPM Getsemani Tompaso is one of the early KGPM Churches which was founded on December 10, 1933 so that it became the 4th Church founded by KGPM in the early days of the Minahasa Protestant Church (KGPM) which was founded by the National Hero in the land of Nyiur, namely Bernard Wilhem Lapian supported by DR. Sam Ratulangi, who served as a member of the Volksraad or (DPR) in the Dutch East Indies parliament at that time.
