My foreign license conversion experience was great and smooth, it only took 10 minutes of counter processing time. However, I queued for 2 hours (9.30-11.30am). Hence Please go earlier if you can.nnBefore you go for your license conversion, please make sure you’re well prepared with:nn1. Basic theory test passedn2. Official letter from your own country that can proves your driving tenure ( usually issued by transport authority of your country)n3. Original and Photocopies of your front and back NRIC or Employment Pass, S Pass, WP etc.n4. Original and Photocopies of your passport first page and last page.n5. Original and Photocopies of your front and back valid driving license.n6. Photocopies of your Re-entry permit and entry permit (if you’re a PR)n7. 1 Passport size photos - coloured with white backgroundn8. Counter accept NETS card and cash card only, no cash/credit card!n9. Fill a pink form (license conversion form)nnGood Luck!

Be careful when handing over your documents. The girl that served me ripped both my original entry and re-entry permit documents while taking them out of the folder. She wouldn’t accept my driving license cards because it doesn’t show when I first got my license. I’ve had a full license for 20 years and lived in various countries. This is by far the most backwards process I’ve had to endure.

Came for converting driving license. At 16.45, there was no queue. Last ticket time is 17.00 strict.nFor documents needed, see photo. Important - you need original and photocopy.

Came to convert my international driver’s license to Singapore driver’s license. I’d suggest to come early, around 8.30am/ 9am to avoid crowds. Even that early, still needed to wait for 3 people, approx. 20-30mins.nnAs long as you have all documents / photo ready, all you need to do is fill a 1 page pink coloured application on the spot and wait for your turn.nnThere really is not much information in the official website regarding this, so suggest to do a lot of research before coming in.

I have been calling hotline for 3 days, no one wants to pick up the call. Left message but officer never return call. Submit document online but after 1 month status still pending, but sends letter requesting us to submit document, otherwise will cancel driver license.
