Cheng San Public Library

Today, 30th April 2021, about 7:45 pm, when I entered into this library to scan my IC into this library system, this staff at the entrance was sitting down on the chair all the while, when scanning my IC. She refused to stand up when after failure many times of scanning this computer system when she was sitting down on the chair. My IC could only be scanned into the computer system when she was standing up. I had to say that her hand scanner was lousy, then she stood up to scan my IC. How came she didn't display customer service at all towards the patrons?? I didn't expect excellent customer service to provide for me.But at least humanity customer service towards me in covid 19 virus period. There are many adults as well as children patrons around in all libraries too. Why should she control me by not letting me into this library? I don't think this staff will want to display consideration towards me in covid 19 virus period because there was already large working adults and students in all libraries after their works as well as their schoolings.

This is the first time since l worked in the childcare l never borrow in the library. The staff was very helpful that she stoped what she was doing and helped me to find books that related to families for me to read to my playgroup. The library should created a cool look for children go to chairs and table for them to take a book to nsit and relax to read book

nice place to bring the family to get books. good selection for kids and they refresh their stock every few months so there are a constant supply of new titles

Some books are really old. The selection could be better. But for the space that it has, it's already pretty good.
