Luminous Dental (Tampines Plaza) - Invisalign & Dental Implants in SG

Was attended to by Hygienist Ms Serene. As I am usually afraid of the dentist and procedures she was very patient and calm helping me relax into the seat. Even modified the treatment so that in could be comfortable from the speed, technique used and overall experience. Thank you Ms Serene!

One of the worst dental clinic I've been to. Called for an enquiry for braces (intended for my daughters) and was told they were having a braces package at $3500.nnAnd so I went, I had spend almost 1K for Xray etc etc. The thing is, shouldn't all this be in the package??? And to top it off, I was just told by their Specialist that I need to fork out $5700 for the braces. Please be reminded that all the money spent is excluded of $5700nnAnd when I voice over my unhappiness to the specialist, the nurse beside the specialist (who sounded Filipino) was actually giving me the reason why they had indicated $3500 at the first as a package which totally annoyed me.nnThe hidden cost are way too much. What happen if I accept the $5700 which the specialist provided....much more hidden cost in the coming months and years?????nnAvoid places who keep hidden cost a secret.

Don't bother making an appointment. Even with an appointment you will have to wait (longest waiting time was 45 minutes because the dentist was late??!! 45 minutes late.). Been here thrice and all 3 times the waitng time exceeded 30 mins even with an appointment. Will not visit again.

Horrible receptionists that messed up my appointments TWICE. A month ago I booked an appointment to consult about braces. When I went for my appointment, they gave me a regular dentist who doesn't know anything about braces. Turned out the receptionist screwed up and booked me for a different purpose. Wasn't angry at her neither did I confront her about it since I thought that at least I ended up making use of the opportunity to do a consultation for my wisdom tooth (which I found out it needed to be removed due to decay)nnA month later which is today, I specially took leave from work to do a wisdom tooth removal surgery but guess what? The receptionist that booked the appointment for me screwed up AGAIN and booked me for a regular wisdom tooth consultation (which I already had it done last month due to one of the receptionist's mistake - not sure if they are the same person)nnHuh???? How is making such mistakes even possible when Luminous receptionists called me a day before each appointment to double confirm the appointment date and purpose of it???? I clearly mentioned it was for a wisdom tooth removal surgery so how did the receptionist not clarify it with me again if she supposedly thought it was for a regular consultation...?? Horrible.nnLuminous Dental, please get your receptionists to go for regular ear check-ups to make sure their ears are functioning well ok?nnAnyway I will never visit Luminous Dental again. And I warn you guys to think twice before visiting this particular outlet with such a receptionist around. Imagine she screws up again and ends up booking you for a tooth removal surgery when you just want a regular consultation.... :)
