Came to Luminous Dental for a simple filling with Dr Lee and she was very gentle, professional in offering advice and fast. I was in and out in less than 10 mins! :) Will come to her for my dental appointments from now on!

I have visited Luminous multiple times. In terms of polishing services, I had no issues. However, I do not rate them favorably for root canal treatment. On one visit where I was supposed to get a root canal treatment, one of the doctors drilled a hole, took an X-Ray and told me that my canal was too small and she had to refer me to her specialist colleagues who charges $1000-$1300 for the procedure. The original procedure I was quoted was $800.nnI consulted another dental clinic for a second opinion. They took another X-Ray and I was told that the drill was slanted instead of straight. Hence, she is unable to find the canal. The dentist later on fixed my tooth with a root canal treatment without issues.nnWhat was positive is that Luminous did not charge me for that visit where my root canal treatment was not successful. However, I did not appreciate the lack of experience from drilling my tooth, and then referring me on to her colleague. Would have appreciated that I was referred to a more experienced dentist right from the start to avoid the pain of going through another Local anesthesia and drilling.nnBased on my experience, I am unlikely to return here for any complicated procedures.

First time coming to this clinic, cos my friend recommended Dr Leroy. But realised halfway through the procedure that he had no compassion for scared patients, and only focused on finishing his job quickly. I was crying and he didnt even bother to comfort me before starting again. It was the nurses who wiped off my tears, so the 1star is for the nurses. Never coming back.

It was painful, but a thorough cleaning and professional dentist. Going back again every time!
