This place is a place where desperate people like myself want to seek help from. Indeed, they will let you know what they can do to help you , etc but bear in mind that they can’t help you 100%. When I went I was hopeful they could help with all my moneylender issues but they could not help with one and only gave “try to delay payment lor” “tell them you trying..” kind of solutions. The hounding doesn’t stop and also the shouting and threats still come. Ultimately I had to sell many things to pay off that month’s debt to this moneylender.nnAnd when you agree to use their services, they make you sign this form to promise you’ll attend their counselling and church services. When you sign up for it, you have to bear in mind your counselling session is at 7pm at their location. Weekend also at their location. Imagine you work in Jurong or Woodlands. Is it possible to come down? People in debt already how to take taxi and grab down every week? Weekend church services ... it’s beneficial for usual church go-ers but what if you are a non-believer or during the weekends you seriously have very important issues to handle? There is not much empathy on their side tbh.nnThen it showed that you’re not compliant because you miss out on their sessions. Then how you email or let them know of the reasons why you can’t go or what .. nobody will even reply you.nnAnd your other moneylenders just keep calling and calling and you go back to them and nothing is done just because you never go for their sessions.nnIf you work for the Lord and people, you don’t ask for anything in return. Forcing people to come and attend your sessions even when people really have issues and difficulties coming by really is too much. When someone is in debt, working hard and paying off debts become a priority. If we have to compromise our jobs and all to attend your services and counselling sessions, will you guys give us money to survive?nnBe realistic. This is just another tactic to make people become christians and all. You want to help people out of goodwill, do it without any fixed hard and fast rule. Otherwise, pls allow counselling sessions to be held in various parts of sg so that poor people can go and attend these helpful sessions.nnAre they helpful? If you’re really living nearby and easily convinced by things, desperate enough then yes. If you’re smarter and live far away, I don’t think this organisation is good for you.nnMy suggestion is to gather money .. about 3k and find a good bankruptcy lawyer. Saves your time and effort. And these Lawyers really help you. Hard to find cash I know ... but really seek your friends and family’s help.nnI haven’t tried other debt solving organisations but I think some do not require religious aspects of it. Do consider those if you need an immediate solution. But u also need to understand that these people are not 100% there to help you. There will be times they don’t reply you, there will be times their negotiation don’t work. It’s not their fault, it’s always ours because honestly , all these are caused by us. We need to be honest to face things.nnI hope everyone will find peace and solutions to debt issues. Don’t borrow from moneylenders. Even legal ones. They demand money like ahlongs. If you’re in debt like me, seek legal help. At least the law is there and threats can be reported. Also u have a lawyer who will settle issues for you.

A very blessed church which filled with God present, and lovely kind hearted christian members. Like it very much of the atmosphere there.

Love this place that they are helping the Druggies and Gamblers with their addiction. Support Groups on Tuesdays They have a Chai Chee Elderly Wing too! Helping the old folks over there. God bless and Shalom!
