This is the biggest fortress in Gorontalo Province. It has 3 bastion, and a secret under passageway. Build by Portuguise army around 1500 AD to resist Philipine pirate from enter main land, this fortress use limestone and -egg- as wall material. This fortress is re-discover by Dutch army on 1800 AD, and it called Orange Fort. On 2016, the Indonesian Government did some renovation around this fort. You can see Kwandang gulf on top of this area.

Interesting to see a small dutch fort, unfortunately it was closed when we visited.
