Decent place to stop for the night. Has some security and also auto lights. Surprising amount of people passing through that area though in the middle of the night.

Very old and far from the city center, but they have 8 Futebol fields and a lot of history there. Behind the Petrim park and it's Sparta Zeny (women's) home, great grass.

such a pity to have this facility used the way it is being used... hugly administrative building of Sparta soccer team, a few training fields here and there... at least it accommodates people searching for a shelter at night...

Drove around it on the tourist hop-on hop-off bus and saw it from the viewing platform of the Petrin Tower where this photo was taken.nIt's almost an unimaginably large stadium. Can't imagine how expansive the space inside must be inside given its the size of 9 football pitches. Apparently built during the communists rule and to be honest it looks from the outside it hasn't been maintained much since.
