This congregation was opened since the Zending period by Evangelist Benyamin Soselisa February 17, 1924 ... The old church building was named Bethel but the old church building was bombed by the Japanese in World War II, then another church building was named Elim, and the last one was named Pniel The Korem now, which was inaugurated April 30, 1974. This congregation is located in the North Biak District Government Center and the capital city of the North Biak GKI Klasis. The atmosphere is quite safe, close to the beautiful Tourism Beach flanked by Kali Warbon in the East and Kali Korem in the West. In the northern part of this church building is located Tuguh Injeel in Korem on February 17, 1924 and Tuguh Warning for Earthquake and Tsunami on February 17, 1996.
