Moh Tak

I was referred to this shop when I asked my good buddy which is the shop he goes for bicycle maintenance in town. Which one that he trusts to operate his one month salary priced Cannondale bicycle. That you can get a good deal and have what was done to your bicycle explained to you.nnMoh Tak is the bicycle shop that you will easily miss if you are not searching for it. They don’t seem to be concerned about making themselves visible, I guess also due to the fact that they already have their regulars. Where other bicycle shops are retailer first and workshop second, Moh Tak is a workshop first and retailer on the side. You know that they know what they are doing.nnForget Carpenter street’s bicycle shops that only sells bicycle and begrudgingly having to fix the bicycle when the the china made bike that you bought 5 months ago starts to act up. At least you know that Moh Tak would have a better after service and probably less likely to get inferior cheap models (as they know well that you are going to end up looking for them when the bicycle starts to display the price you paid for). The boss is a bicycle enthusiast that organises riding trips- you wouldn’t trust a skinny chef, so why would you trust a non-cyclist to sell you a bicycle?nnThere is plenty of flashy bicycle shops in town that carries branded bicycle if that is what you look for. Moh Tak is a family run “moms and pops” bicycle store that I like to support. I mean, the wife is helping in the shop, the son just fixed my bicycle while the father is supervising and grandma is at the counter, like the boss that she is. I’d trade that with a airconditioned “showroom” shop anyday. I only trust people with grease on their hand and their floors.
