One of largest Theravada Buddhism vihara/temple in Samarinda, East Kalimantan.nThere are a bhaktisala and dharmasala hall, kuti (monks house), meditation rooms and functional hall.nWe can join praying every Sunday :n09.00 until 11.00 AM for young people, teenagersn17.00 until 19.00 PM for adultnnIn there are also a Buddhist children schools.nHave a calm n happy visit

This is a Buddhist Theravada temple that was built 25 years ago and such a suitable place to those who wants to learn Buddhism since there is a monk lives in the temple for most of the time.nnLocated behind Budi Bakti school, there might be a lot of people coming on Sunday for practicing Dhamma, and there will be a ritual for preparing food for breakfast and lunch to the Monks.nnThis temple is pretty clean, and there is a meditation room at the back of the area. Not everyone can enter this place, but if you wish, please ask the guard or the worker for permissions.nnIt is a must to wear proper clothing when come to this place (no shorts, no sleeveless), and for tourist, please make a call to get the information before coming, in case there is a ceremony and the temple is not ready to take a guest.
