Very professional dive center. Offering PADI courses. Well organized, always on time. All famous dive sites are nearby and reachable by speed boat in a short time. The Lazy Turtle Dive is a small dive center. So you can be sure to go for diving in small groups. The owner Andy is careful and can handle professional divers as well as beginners. Good experience. Great dives.

There are a few places to dive with on/around Alor. A couple of them are all inclusive resorts on nearby islands. While there's nothing wrong with that, if that's what you're looking for, if you want to stay on Alor itself and have access to the rest of the island, Lazy Turtle is the way to go.nnAndy, the owner is extremely experienced and knowledgeable. All of the gear is new and he puts your safety above all else. It also cannot be understated that he has the fastest dive boat around. This allows quick access to all of the main spots. It really makes a difference.nnOut of the 10 amazing dives I did with Andy, all of them were spectacular and not once did we encounter another dive group in the water. The diving here is both spectacular and largely undiscovered.nnOn a non diving related point, Andy is just a great contact to have on the island. Alor is very remote - no one speaks English, cooked meals are hard to organize, it is difficult to get around. Having someone like Andy really makes or breaks the experience.nnThanks again Andy, hope to make it back someday!

Since we met Andy he met all our criteria - professional, flexible, easy to deal with, well organizer, reasonable pricing, enjoyable dive safari. We keep coming every year and bring friends along, who also have positive experience. Andy and Maree were excellent dive masters and totally aware of the best diving spots, currents, weather conditions, etc. All comfort is provided pre and post dive. Meals included (on request), excellent gear, and the team is also wonderful.nI totally advise if you go to Alor, and you MUST, to go with Andy and Maree which will give you an amazing diving experience
