Kawanooa Shop (11/17/2018)
Located in the center of Manado city center, the Chinese village is a place with many old shop buildings built since the Dutch colonial era. Buildings that are still maintained as their original form have a touch of colonial architecture, coupled with ethnic colors.nnIn this place, visitors can see the oldest temple in Manado, Ban Hing Kiong which was built in 1819 and is still magnificent. In addition, not far from the Ban Hing Kiong temple, there is also a pagoda that has been established for a long time even though it is not as old as the Ban Hing Kiong temple called Kwang Kong Temple. Many shops sell food, drinks and souvenirs for souvenirs along the way, so tourists can take a walk while washing their eyes.

Kampung Cina or China Town is located in Pasar 45 or the bendar area.nKampung Cina is a historical part of Manado city. Here there are Chinese people who used to come to Manado to sell. A number of old buildings also exist here and continue to be maintained. In general, these buildings were built in the Dutch colonial era. It is called the Chinese village, because almost all of its settlers and building owners are ethnic Chinese from Manado.nDuring Chinese holidays, visitors will find Chinese ornaments that will definitely add to the atmosphere of oriental China in China Town.
