It's more precise to be called batik street shops than kamping batik. They still make the batik there, but its far behind the shops. Not all shops make their batik at spot.

handmade, original, limited edition. you can make batik in here. the price for a blouse little bit expensive but it's worthy

When KKL was here. It was fun, the place was pretty good and was greeted friendly :) Learned to make batik motifs using canting and introduced several types of Yogya batik motifs.

Giriloyo batik village is a workshop for the art of making batik. Here, visitors can learn to start from the tools and materials of batik; then learn how to make batik from drawing (motifs), painting with wax, dipping, to completion. Here too, visitors can see the results of batik, and buy a variety of batik with different prices and quality. Even here, there are clean mosques and toilets; and a large parking area.

The place of original handmade batik, it is more expensive but the motives are so good, private batik can be @ 100 thousand for 1 person, 250 thousand for 5 people, more participants can be cheap.nnThe place is spacious.nThe batik coach is friendly.nThere is a public toilet, there is a small mosque, a large hall.
