Teluk Jantang Beach

It's a small beach with soft white sand, crystal clear water, and away from the crowd.

This beach is very beautiful and enchanting. It is located in Gampong Jantang, Lhoong District, about an hour's leisurely car ride from Banda Aceh City. Of course, if you are a racer type, the journey is faster. This beach was formed after the tsunami, previously a land, coconut plantation and village. The pre-tsunami coastline was approximately 300 meters to the sea from the current coastline. There is an asphalt road to get in here. On the beach there are wooden benches for picnics. Many also come with their families and lay out picnic mats. It is not recommended to take a bath on this beach, if you cannot swim.
