The stone has a historical background about the quarrel between two brother Datuk Parpatih Nan Sabatang from Agam and Datuk Katumanggungan from Limo Puluah Koto.nTwo leaders debated about the justice of leader to their society. Because of there is no solution.Both of them crash the stone with their kris magic.So, there is a hole as a solution for their angry.it is a historical landmark in Batusangkar, West Sumatera.nThe Location near to public facilities and public transportation.

Batu Batikam (Batikam Stone), one of the historical heritage objects in Pagaruyung, West Sumatra. The puncture holes in the middle was made by Datuk Perpatih Nan Sebatang. It's the proof of the existence of the kingdom of Minangkabau in the Neolithic era and symbol of peace and deliberations in the life of Minangkabau society.
