Terrible shared taxi service! Our Samosir hotel made a booking for us in advance and said they would be at the jetty at 10am holding a sign with our names. Our ferry reached at 9:40am, and we didn't see anyone with signs. At 10, we messaged the hotel, and the hotel said the driver should be there already. Finally at 1020 we found out that our ride had already left because they couldn't find us, even though we were there all along. The manager blamed us for not catching the ride, saying they were calling our names, though we didn't hear that at all, only people calling for taxi to Medan. Finally we found 2 other guys who were also going to Medan, but the manager wouldn't let us leave until he had 2 more. In the end, we and the other couple paid 50,000 more (per pair) to leave with just the 4 of us. The taxi ride was uncomfortable, especially because the air conditioning wasn't working well. We turned the strength up to 3 but the driver asked us to dial it down to 2 because it was noisy. So it was a hot and uncomfortable ride. Will not recommend this at all! Try to get Nice Trans shared taxi instead if your hotel can call them for you.

Absolute scumbags of a taxi service. We arranged for a 6 pax car to drive us to the airport. However, when we arrived at their office they said they would not leave until the car had 7 people or we would pay for the empty seat. Eventually we told him to find an extra person because we did not want to pay extra. This did cost us some time we needed to be at the airport on time!nnBUT THE REAL PROBLEM WAS THE DRIVER STEALING MY BOYFRIENDS PHONE. WHEN WE CALLED THE MAIN OFFICE THEY SAID THE DRIVER WOULD COME BACK BUT ON THE PHONES GPS WE COULD SEE THE PHONE HEADING BACK TO PARAPAT. WE FILLED A REPORT WITH THE POLICE.

We (two persons) booked a minivan to Medan a few hours before departure. We did this by phone and got confirmed that we had to pay 80,000 rupiah per person. When we arrived, he told us to pay the full amount for the minivan, which was 400,000 rupiah. He presented this as our only option to reach Medan. However, we walked around and found out there were other much cheaper and convenient options. In five minutes we we were on our way to Medan for only 70,000 in total. I would not recommend this company because the owner/manager is very dishonest and only cares about making money by ripping off his customers.

HORRIBLE HEAD OFFICE, LIAR. DON'T TRUST HIM.nHe only wants to earn money and don't care about passengers.nnAs for my experience, I bookednin advance a taxi to go from Parapat to Medan Airport directly for 100.000Rp, 6:00pm, so that I could arrive at 11:00pm, sleep at the airport and wait until my flight next morning (9am).nThe thing is that as I was the only passenger, he told me I was going to stop in another city to pick up more people there. But, eventually, nothing he told me happened. I had to wait on the taxi/bus station of this city, called Siantar, until 00:00, to take an scheduled regular taxi/mini van with some other people that booked the ticket at the station.nI tried to talk back to him and tell him that he had to arrange something so that I could leave towards the airport at that exact moment (8:00pm) as we dealed before, not at 00:00.nOnly one local guy knew enough english to tell me, basicaly, that this kind of frauds used to happen quite frequently with Bagus Wisata Holidays company.nFinally, I ended up waiting 4 hours at this station, taking the next taxi at 00:00 to arrive at the airport at 4:00am.nReally anoying organization.nnHope you don't trust him or you don't book any ticket with this company.

Terrible operator avoid under all circumstances. Car was meant to leave at 2:30pm and take max 4 hours. We were made to wait for an extra hour plus there were 2 other long stops including a dinner upsell stop 20km before the destination. We eve really arrived at 9pm. What a joke.
