OYO 882 Puri Gevana Guest House

First of all, I think this place is a Gem. I went to Padangpanjang last year and stayed at other place, if only I known this place before I would stayed here, hands down.nnThe plus: Modern looking guest house, bed is comfortable, furniture is quite goodlooking, but the most wondrous of all is the view, striking at best!, won't regret staying here, and the breakfast, simple but don't dissapoints (oh, its spicy).And I get a very good rate at only USD 11 at Christmas day (holiday season). No better deal than this.nnThe minus: Due to residing at the busy, 24 hours intercity road, the noise is quite disturbing, I recommend to bring earplugs or earphone to minimize the street noise. My room had quite awful stench from the toilet, particularly from the closet. So if you have a same experience, you can close the toilet seat and toilet door.nnConclusion: this place is a great, don't let the minus prevents you from taking this place as your staying place. After all, the plus really outweight the minus, would've give 4.8 out of 5 if I can.

Love this place. But hard to find, wrong location in maps/waze. Friendly staff and owner. Good views, hard to find minimarket around if you dont have your own transport. Overall, good. Tapi sinki tersumbat and lubang air ditandas berbau bagi bilik saya.

Not bad for staying, the atmosphere is comfortable with rural nature.

Initially fun to meet this inn, after check and re-check in terms of price and facilities, finally booking and lgsg depart. How come the price of superpromo is only 110k already deluxe + breakfast. The facilities are the same as seen in the photo, very clean, comfortable, the view is great, so worth it! To the city center it's only 10 minutes by mbl. There are only a few that need to be upgraded:n- wifi is not available, even though the statement is available wifin- Drinking water is available, but you have to take it yourself to the kitchen / pantry (there is a dispenser) because the receptionist said all OYO now do not provide any more bottled mineral water in each room.n- staff should be more informative in conveying facilities or rules at the hotel. Actually there's nothing lacking, just for the problem of wifi + breakfast + drink we have to ask first and then explain, if you don't ask, you don't know anything.n- when checking out the staff there was finally we just put the key on the reception desk, it seems like other guests also because there were other keys at the reception desk when we left.nOverall we are very satisfied. Mothers who are on guard are also friendly. Breakfast is delivered to the room, in the form of rice cake and hot tea. Actually this is the house used as an inn, so it feels very homey. When booking we made a special request, I wanted to give you a good view, but it was actually given a good room for the view. One day want to come back here :)
