SMP 220 is a junior high school located in the sunrise garden complex, Duri Kepa, West Jakarta.nInitially established around 1978 which is still called SMP 125 Class distant. Along with the development, the organization began to form there, from sports organizations to scientific work. In 1981 this school became SMPN 220, a sport that developed in the early 1980s was volleyball. Many achievements have been made by this one sport.nAt that time, the location of the school, which was close to the secretarial river, was a flood-prone area. Often students were closed because their classes could not be used due to flooding. This lasted until 2008, finally this school was renovated or raised. While the teaching and learning process the students were moved to an elementary school building in Greenville.nThere are still teachers who teach at this school since it was founded.
