Gua Tampines Lakorua

Exciting exploration of this new cave we named Gua Tampines - Lakorua with Rock ‘n’ Roll Divers. The only access to the cave entrance is by SRT rappelling down a sinkhole, 10m below the surface. There's a short time window before the bottom is almost underwater at high tide. Laid the first main line to 29m depth towards hillside and a second T line towards the sea. This huge cave starts from a sinkhole with a dense layer of hydrogen sulfide to 10m and opens up to excellent viz. Haloclines (layer between salt n freshwater) found at seabound route. Max depth is estimated to be ++50m. Rich variety of speleothem.
