After a hamlet was formed, he was given the name Pucang Anom, a name taken from the name of Kiai Pucang, the founder. According to the story, Kiai Pucang was a wanderer.nnFinally, after Pucang Anom Hamlet stood and was gradually prosperous, Kiai Pucang left Pucang Anom Dar Hamlet. re-clearing the forest in the Ngijon area. Then, he reopened to Bagelan, until he realized the third Pucang village.nMustaka TibannnOne day, the residents of Dustin Pucang Anom were shocked by the presence of a mustaka in a pot (water container) in the rice fields north of the village. The message brought by the soldiers was that Ngarso Dalem Ingkang Sinuwun, the King of Mataram, with the presence of Mustaka Tiban, ordered the Pucang Anom community to build a mosque.nnBased on the king's decree, the people immediately worked together to build a mosque. On the white land belonging to the Mataram Palace, covering an area of ​​799 m2 a mosque was built with the architecture of the Demak Mosque. As stated by H. Sukarno, takmir of the Darussalam Mosque, there is no exact indication of when the mosque was built.nnHowever, looking at the legacy of the existing Ganesha area, suggests that the mosque was built during the transitional period between Hinduism and Islam.
