A popular photo selfie spot for mountain bikers and motorbikers on top of a steep hill named Bangkel Hill, in Bangkel Village, Srimulyo Subdistrict, Piyungan District, Bantul Regency, about 13 km from Yogyakarta City. You can start from Jalan Wonosari, after WS Convenience Store go further and turn left through a gate before the next gas station (SPBU) at Payak, and at a large crossroad you can see signs showing the direction to Gunung Wangi. Be careful if you drive a car, because approaching the parking lot the road becomes steep and narrow. The selfie spot is situated close to a large cemetary of a royal family with high walls on the same hilltop. It has rock steps to go up, a clean toilet, and a clean musholla (moslem prayer place) for 5-6 people. At night it has good lighting, so you can relax on the hilltop and enjoy the beautiful view of lights from Jalan Wonosari below, the famous Bukit Bintang, the HeHa Skyview and the Manglung garden restaurant. At the lower part of the hilltop there are food stalls offering simple foods such as instant noodles and drinks, with outdoor tables for groups. The favourite drink here is tamarind hot drink (wedang asem). At weekends the food stalls are open till about 09:00 p.m.
