Decent and affordable base camp to explore the beauty of South Misool, Raja Ampat. Stayed at Harfat Jaya for 4 days in May 2014, we rented a boat, diving equipment together with a friendly local guide who take us to beautiful and exotic places.nnIt is truly a memorable experience. Definitely want to come back.

Very Best hospitality accommodation around this remote area. Fresh water and clean towel along with traditional bathtub. visit during October to May will bring you most the blue sky, compared during Southern tropical windy months of June - September. Photo With the owner and the founder of Puncak Harfat, Dapunlol.

Booked 2 days worth of rooms here, with 17 other people. 2 on each room, we thought. Been contacting the son of the owner for the last 7 months, but the owner mistook us for another group that booked just a month prior. From 9 rooms, we were down to 4, mine with 6 person inside, full of moths flying around and damp bed. We had to argue with the owner for a solid hour before he let us stay, and didnt even consider his son's opinion about who paid first and stuff. Dont get me wrong, the view is great, but food is bad, water is disgusting and to get to the lodging you have to climb up a slippery set of stairs, with quite abit of oil spill here and there. Food is a no-no, served us boiled eggs and instant noodles for dinner. Would not recommend, find somewhere else to stay.

Lodging is quite basic - food is quite terrible. The place doubles as a fuel station so spilled petrol is on the pathway to the cottages, quite dangerous. Usually visitors rent boats to go around Misool and make this homestay a basecamp.
