Reference for the diving centernnWe had a more or less good and two bad experiences.nWe were staying in another homestay without diving facitilies, so our host contacted with them.nnWe were supposed to go diving in the afternoon, but they finally canceled because the dive they did in the morning ended later than they thought. Result, no diving for us.nnNext, one morning diving and snorkeling looking for the Mantarays. The positive part is that we could go, but they didn't check the documents for diving and the depth gauge didn't work well.nnNext day (our last one) we were supposed to go to Piaynemo.nnThe morning arrives, we see the boat going to pick the others in our homestay that were also part of the group. And here it comes the surprise: they said that the two of us could not go because the boat was full.nnThe day before, they even said about getting a bigger boat that would be more comfortable, we were the ones who insisted in going there and they kicked us out of the group. That left us a very disapionting feeling, and the worst, I don't think they care.nnIt was as simple as, the night before, a call to our homestay and say it was not possible to go. We would have tried to get another group. But what they did, they wait until the time to go to say to your face, the boat is full and you cannot go.nnConclusion, thanks to the bad communication and organisation we are leaving Raja Ampat without the chance to go to Piaynemo. If they had a bit of empathy, they would organize things better. Yes, it is another culture, another country, but if they make a living with tourism, they should care about it.nSo in our case, it was 1 more or less positive experience out of 3. Up to you...

Amazing location, beautiful house reef, good in house diving setup (for West Papua) and very friendly staff. Food was good on the whole considering the availability of resources.

Breakfast consists of bread with Nutella . If you're lucky you get toast or fryed green bread balls no nuttella. Boiled fish of fryed fish(cold)and vary small portions but tons of rice. 1 time chicken 3 small pieces. Not enough food for energy used on dive. Public Fridge is fill of trash and stinks. Toilet bins overflowing. 2 times people fell through the floor cutting legs. Half of BCD old, 4 new. All boots have holes. 4 new wet suit old ones are ok. The only time you see your host is when he takes you on a dive do not expect to talk to him. The fridge is full of garbage and so is the beach. I cut my trip short by 3 days just to get out of here. Photo included.
