Best places to stay during your time in Raja Ampat. Has everything it needs. Great food. Nice people. Very good bungalow.

Beautiful beach, we stayed in the VIP bungalow for 3 nights, staff was helpful.nnThe water tub in our bathroom had debris in it and wasn’t clean - the owner (Brian) did clean it up after we informed him. The breakfast was pretty basic (e.g. bread) and nothing special compared to the other homestays. We did we request eggs which they provided.nnOn our last night, the owner left to Waisai without informing us. This is a big deal because we had arranged boat transport the next morning to Waisai in order to catch a ferry and ultimately our flight. It was only after we casually asked where he was that the staff told us that he left to Waisai. We ended up having to scramble to find other transportation which was NOT easy. This left a very bitter taste in our mouthes. At the very least, he should have let us know he needed to leave and help us find alternative transportation - you as the local/owner knows how difficult it is to arrange boat transfer from Fam.

Beautiful turquoise water, white coral sand beach. Probably one of the best in Raja Ampat. Only some corals for snorkeling though.nWe stayed 6 nights in the VIP bungalow. Well equipped with table and chairs, bathroom, hand soap, hooks and washing line. Only hammocks were missing. Nice garden-like area between the beach and the bungalows.nFood was good but similar every day.nThere is a fridge in the dining area.nBrian prepares coco nuts if you wish.nHe was very friendly and helpful with wishes / requests we had during our stay.nUnfortunately (like in some other homestays) there was a rat in our bungalow at night...but Brian provided a trap.nWe did a trip to Wayag and Piaynemo. Trip and transport prices were different than shown on the website. Some skilled price negotiations with Brian are recommended.
